It's been a great semester . . . now blow off some steam and come gather for the annual SILS Holiday Party.
Catherine "Kate" Kosturski
Kate, a resident of East Windsor, New Jersey, is finishing up her first year at Pratt-SILS. She received her B.A. in Government/Public Administration (minor in Speech Communication) summa cum laude from York College of Pennsylvania in 2000 and hopes to have her M.S.L.I.S from Pratt (with a Museum Libraries advanced certificate) in May 2010. At Pratt, she is a member of SILSSA, contributing articles and copy editing services to Keyword.
Kate is employed temporarily (until August 2008) as the law librarian at the New Jersey law firm of Saiber LLC, and will return to her marketing position with the Firm when her library assignment concludes. When sheÕs not processing books and periodicals and locating opinions for her attorneys (or writing their bios and making them look good), she also maintains various trust accounts for three products liability cases overseen by one of SaiberÕs retired federal judges.
Kate is also a Visitor Services Volunteer at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and Secretary of the York College of PA New York City Metro Area Alumni Association. In whatever spare time she has left, Kate enjoys photography, computers, baseball, hockey, and is ridiculously addicted to the works of Michael Chabon, the Strand Bookstore, British comedies, and the TV shows Mad Men, The Colbert Report and Scrubs.
