Soviet & German stats (15mm)
(Adobe Acrbat .pdf file)
Here are a new set of Vehicle Stats, made by Gary Archer and George Paler, of the Onelist / eGroups BGWWII list. They have updated many armore values, and some AP values also, as well as added more AFVs. A few (like the flamethrower tanks and Komsomolets tractor) are mine.

SPEEDS: I have changed the speeds after researching the historical speeds or all the AFVs in these lists. You'll find that many of the speeds given in the game are a bit excessively low, mainly big tanks like the Tiger and Königstiger, and KV-1 family. Actually, the Tiger rolled just as fast as a Pz IVH! (Earlier Pz. IVs were faster.)

The speeds, 15mm being so small a scale, are given in increments of ¼" and in centimeters. We play the tanks in cm and everything else in inches, and we have found that it does not encumber or slow down the game. You choose!

COSTS: After EEE released their new Battle Builder system, I went ahead and calculated all the values from Gary's charts. Because the EEE guys intended the values to be calculated from the 28mm speeds, I took the task of making the cost calculations using 28mm speeds. A 15mm tank shouldn't cost more than a 28mm one!

Now here's a house-rule thingie: Because of EEE's system, most assault guns ended up costing more than the Tank they originated from! Examples: StuG III and Pz.III (even Pz.IVH!), Panther & Jagdpanther, T-34/76 or /85 and SU-85, etc. Historically, assault guns and self-propelled guns were made as cheaper alternatives to tanks, or stop-gap solutions until a bigger gun could be installed on a proper tank, with a rotating turret. So...what I did was multiply the (HF + TF + HS/R + TS/R + speed +AP) by 3.5 instead of 4 for the AGs and SPs. If you don't agree with this, simply divide these values by 3.5 and the multiply by 4. Mail me if you'd like the MS Excel files.

PLANS:
I plan on doing the same charts for 20mm and even 28mm. All it requires is a calculator and another free weekend. Also, when I get the data down, I'll finish the British Vehicle Stats that I'm working on, and start on the Americans.

I am also planning to list a given and exact road speed and cross-country speed, to use both speeds instead of just double speed on the road. I have been finding a couple of sites and books that list both. Do you think it would slow the game down too much? Feedback, please.

Polish stats (15mm)
(Adobe Acrbat .pdf file)
Brought to you by Scott Fisher & Nathan from the SkirmishCampaigns gang. This chart was researched and made for the upcoming Poland '39 book, and thanks to Scott and Nate is now available to all of us! It includes: TK-3, TKS, TKS 20mm, FT-17, Vickers E, & 7TP tanks, and the wz. 34 MG, wz. 34, & wz. 29 armored cars. Maybe someone out there would like to make a tank chart for one of these??? ;-) If so, there's webspace here for it....(hint, hint)
