Although I don't play Flames Of War (it's too gamey and unrealistic for me), I think this forum is a very good tool for the player... gamer.

There are forums that include: Army Lists, Tactics, General Discussion, Armies & Unit Histories, Battles, etc. The Modelling & Painting and Gallery are particularly good no matter if you buy Battlefront or else.

Quality Castings Finest-detailed 15mm AFVs. Well worth the price. The tanks are their forte, and they have lots of them. The figures (the older ones) are kinda dwarf-like. Newer ones are better. NO PICS.

Also known by their sister brand's name in England: Skytrex. Their WWII line is "Command Decision."

Detailed 15mm minis, with more anthropomorphic soldiers than Battlefront. A bit less variety, though. I like them for my main forces. They only sell huge bags of 50 men. These have like 10-15 different poses inside. If you know how to distribute them, the repeats will not be noticeable.

They make many lines of 15mm apart from WWII: WWI, Russian and Spanish Civil War, and Modern Africa (for which they have such a thing as "Naked Militia with AK47". The WWII range is Range 8.

Great specific stuff to round out your armies, like Germans with StG-44, snipers, engineers (Russians have mine dogs!), even destroyed T-34/85, Tiger, and PzKfw III. Brits having a brew!!! Germans having lunch!!!
Battlefront New Zealand Nice minis, with hulls and turrets made of plastic (oh, excuse me... resin) which saves weight when your collection gets big. Their organization of figures in their packs has gotten better, but the price for each sucks: $7.95!! for about 23 figs or 1 vehicle! The quality is good, but a bit on the dwarfish side. A bit.
QRF—Quick Reaction Force English guys. They sell a few thingies in 15mm. Not so huge in WWII as Quality or Old Glory, but they have weird AFVs, like Polish, T-28s, and T-35s.
Brookhurst Hobbies U.S. seller of Peter Pig lines—all of them. The Peter Pig WWI, Russian and Spanish Civil War stuff you can use for BGWWII also, like "Russians in greatcoats". They also sell Old Glory, and terrain, rules, etc. Go there and surf. Click on the gaming link. Then historical miniatures. $6 flat rate for shipping! :-)
