| As we are not allowed very much space on the server (only 100 megs!), I can only make a limited number of copies of faculty and students. I would prefer to have them online and am considering various options. Sadly, many tapes --- including Scholar in Residence Susan Buck-Morss in April 2002, the Questions of Identity and Left at 20009.11.01 and After: Responses and Responsibilities, which was a three day series of talks and discussions in October 2001--- never made it into my possession. Some are confirmed lost and some others are assumed to be lost. Any copies that might exist out there would be appreciated. are offered without editorial comment. For a summary of my views
about this period, you can see the last document listed. For some reason, we also taped our faculty curriculum meeting of November 6, 1997, when it was still the Department of Social Sciences and Management.
I have no idea why and have only listened to parts of it.
It seems to concern the history curriculum, but touches on the
Cultural Studies proposal as well. It is somewhat haunting to
again hear some voices that have either moved on or passed away, and
so I have only listened to parts of it. I suppose I can provide
it to faculty in the department as it provides some historical insight,
and also the manner of discussions at another moment of
significant shifts in the department. These concerns are also
reflected in the discussions in the recordings.Note |
